Attorney Ruth Greenberg has devoted her career to criminal defense in both state and federal courts, concentrating her practice in post conviction relief of all kinds, lately including compassionate release. Attorney Ruth Greenberg has been profiled twice in the past year in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. and is frequently featured in local media reporting on criminal justice and compassionate release issues. Attorney Ruth Greenberg is the founder and previously the director of Boston University’s Compassionate Release Clinic, and served as instructor in the Wrongful Convictions program. Attorney Ruth Greenberg has served as adjunct faculty at both the Boston University School of Medicine, teaching forensic neuroscience, and the Boston University School of Law. Attorney Ruth Greenberg has also been invited to guest lecture at MIT in the area of law and neuroscience, and in the area of corrections and disability.
